In a luminous world of drifting islands, Nira, a shy young stargazer, spends her nights charting the sky’s magical Starblooms—flowers that grow from fallen starlight and power the floating archipelago. When she accidentally causes an ancient Starbloom to wilt, she meets Lior, a bold, free‑spirited celestial gardener who tends to the sky’s living constellations. Their unlikely partnership sparks a gentle, hesitant romance as they search for a way to heal the dying bloom.
But something far larger is unraveling. The starfields begin to dim, and entire constellations fade from the night one by one. Nira and Lior discover that the Skyroot—an enormous, invisible root system binding the islands and stars together—is collapsing because the Starblooms have lost their emotional resonance.
